JoeLassister
I remember a wednesday night, on April 28th, agaisnt Washington. I remember another wednesday night, on May 12th, against Pittsburgh. I want to remember this wednesday night, April 27th, against Boston. Feel it comin' in the air (yeah) Hear the screams from everywhere (yeah) I'm addicted to the thrill (I'm ready) It's a dangerous love affair (wassup) Can't be scared when it goes down (c'mon) Got a problem, tell me now (wassup) Only thing that's on my mind (wassup) Is who's gonna run this town tonight... (wassup) Is who's gonna run this town tonight... (wassup) We gonna run this town * Nevermind the Illuminati or Freemasonry references included in this song, I just posted the very first part that I quoted cuz it fits a Game 7 IMHO. BrenDittero
Being mildly superstitious I'm going to re post this with a slight modification at the end: Montreal will win. Not maybe, could or might. Will. No " the smart money's" or " Just to be fair's " I will say this again...Montreal will win. Anyone who posts to the contrary before the final buzzer will be held personally responsible for a loss, should it happen. But it won't. Round 2 is but a few days away. YeahBud
Pressure is on the Bruins now. Hopefully they will be squeezing their sticks a little too tightly.. The hockey gods are almost finished exacting revenge for Patches.... Tonight is a defining moment for our team. I believe they will NOT disappoint. brobin
Lots of injuries / game time decisions. We had a very short bench yesterday. I sure hope there is something left in the tank tonight and they can squeak this one out. I am not sure if they have enough players left to go much deeper, but knocking off the Bruins will be very satisfying.
BrenDittero
Many of you may not know this but Sun Tzu the great Chinese military general and philosopher was a Montreal Canadiens fan. Which is funny cause I woulda pegged him as a Canucks fan geographically. When asked if the Habs would take game 7, he had this to say: Confront them with annihilation, and they will then survive; plunge them into a deadly situation, and they will then live. When people fall into danger, they are then able to strive for victory. Later when asked how the Habs would dispatch their age old foes he added: "The opportunity to secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself." It's a little hard to decipher but I think he's talking about the dismal Boston power play here. Wow, hockey analysis from 481 BC was much more insightful than the crap we get nowadays. sakiqc
Marchand is the new "Lucic" aka Habs killer. Lets make sure that 2nd line doesn't hurt us tonight. We've got to play smart! As Toews was able to score his 1st goal at the most important time of the series last night, lets not tempt the Bruins big 1st line. They have been very quiet thus far but should not be underestimated. That is one hell of a line. We must keep them - and Big Z ! - out of the game until the very last second. BrenDittero
Someone should buy that book for Gomez. I suspect Gomez is not much of a reader, probably more of a books on tape kinda guy. He probably spent many rainy Sunday afternoons on the couch soaking up ' The Art of Scoring the biggest contract of your life ' as read by ilya Kovalchuk. Clawskulls
I have a sneaking feeling one of the two teams is going to be flat tonight. I'm just hoping it's not the Habs!
BCHabnut
One positive is that it won't take as much liquid to rehydrate our little fellers out there. Chara probably stayed up all night hydrating. Kiwihab
Gotta get my 2 cents worth in on this. If HABS score first we have a real chance otherwise I think it will be hard to chase down a bruins lead. My pick is HABS 3-2 with Darche getting the winner early in the third. GO HABS GO

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Several people are expressing unease as game time approaches. I think it's because the odds are - as usual - against us, due to the combination of injuries + back-to-back games. I expect the Prunes to enjoy some stretches of domination tonight. Price will need to be huge. If he is, we have a great chance to win.

dlbalr
Wisniewski once again is in the warmup, Pouliot once again isn't. This suggests that Eller no matter what is playing, as is Weber as a winger. Only possible change now would be Wisniewski in for either Spacek (unlikely) or Mara (likely).
