brobin
What about Eller-Plex-Bourque? They look like a 3rd line lately. so we have one offensive line and one decent defensive line... it explains being outshot 31 -17 so far.
brobin
Another joke of a call. no way was that goalie interference.

brobin
Outshot 16 to 4 in the third with no apparent push to tie the game... Boys are mailing it in now. I guess fail for Nail wasn't canceled for the night.

brobin
And the PP goal to clinch it. Ugly... We just can't score and when we do, we sit on the lead until we are behind.
hab29RETIRED
LOL, throwing fish now. I guess the fans like the team are lost in their identity!
sbhatt
I don't know why this team thinks it's okay to play hard for 20 out of 60 minutes ,but they've done so most of this season...and they did it again tonight to a predictable result. Is there any reason to continue watching these bums? If you can't get up to play spoiler when it's the Leafs on a Saturday night, clearly your mind is already on the golf course. Poor Carey, he should fake an injury and spare himself the wasted efforts.
hab29RETIRED
unbelievable, the CBC just had a commercial for ANOTHER Don cherry movie????
dlbalr
i wish they'd start the fire Gauthier chants - english and french!!!! Because firing the GM in March would do what, exactly? If he's going to be let go, he'll be turfed in 6 weeks. No need at all to expedite that.
Commandant
This sucks and I certainly wanted the Habs to win and cheered for them tonight. But reality is even this loss is for the best at the end of the year.
BCHabnut
As long as he's fired the day after the last game. Only 16 more games of this junk to go
brobin
unbelievable, the CBC just had a commercial for ANOTHER Don cherry movie???? Why do you find that strange. It is a CBC movie, so they are promoting it. TSN promotes there shows too. Now why anyone wants a Don Cherry movie, its beyond me. Unfortunately, leaf fans ate up the last one and the rating were high enough they made another.
dlbalr
Carolina loses in OT but still gets a point while the Islanders won in Boston this afternoon, that separates the 15th place gap a little more. Playoff odds if anyone's wondering are down to 0.2% with the loss. (Basically, winning out is the only shot they have left at the playoffs; apparently there's a 1 in 500 chance of that happening.) Trizzak
Neither Gauthier or Cunneyworth should come back, really. Mind you, maybe the players would be more willing to play a full 60 minutes for Randy if he wasn't a lame-duck.
Commandant
Also Bourque is shit. Shoulda kept Cammy
hab29RETIRED
I would just like the fans voice their displeasure - to ensure if molson is considering keeping PG, He knows where the fans stand. Because firing the GM in March would do what, exactly? If he's going to be let go, he'll be turfed in 6 weeks. No need at all to expedite that. Chris
No they should not have kept Cammy. This team is a rutterless ship. The players are clueless, they don't try. They have no top line, arguably 3 nhl defenseman. They score on most nights 1 goal a game. So as much as bourque blows, you can say that about every forward not named Cole, pacs or DD. I actually think Edmonton may catch them.
sbhatt
Also Bourque is shit. Shoulda kept Cammy I'm not sure we should have kept Cammy, but I agree that Bourque is shit. Anyone else think Eller sucked for the most part tonight as well?
hab29RETIRED
Also Bourque is shit. Shoulda kept Cammy I said that when the deal was made - seen plenty of games with him here in Calgary. His 29 goals in Calgary will translate to around 15 with the habs. Forget about Cammy, he won't even replace Ak46.
dlbalr
I would just like the fans voice their displeasure - to ensure if molson is considering keeping PG, He knows where the fans stand. Fair enough. Doing that may be better in the final home game or two of the season though.
