Huh. Murray again?

I don't entirely object, although it was during Murray's shifts where I feel we were hemmed in our own end the most.

His big physical presence is helpful, but he goes a long way toward negating our speed advantage.

The lineups aren't official, it's just what they were last game. I made a switch for Boston as they called a guy up today that apparently is going to play. As the day progresses, I'll fix the lines if they're different. I suspect they'll keep Murray in though.

Edit: Both Bouillon/Murray had extra skating after practice, suggesting neither will play tonight.

Game 4 is always THE game of the series.

The one who decides if : a) a team wins it. b) series goes 3-1. c) back to square one.

The gap between 3-1 lead and 2-2 is freaking HUGE !!!

GO HABS GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the looks of their practice, the Bruins are blowing it up.

Pour ceux que ça intéresse :

Iginla-Campbell-Marchand
Eriksson-Bergeron-Lucic,
Paillé-Krejci-Smith,
Fraser-Caron-Thornton

Too many moves there for something not be changed. Soderbegh is absent from practice. What's the purpose of all these new lines? Defense? I guess Greg Campbell is getting a huge promotion to being the number 1 center. Looks like they have an all-AHL line, with last change...nice!

Most likely Soderberg is centering the top line if taking a therapy day, and Jordan Caron is a scratch.

What do we make of this? Does this give the Bruins an extra jump, or will it add more confusion that led to three breakdowns last game?

I sure hope we can win tonight, and decisively. I want the Bruins demoralized.

Not me. I want to win 4-2 again, with an empty netter if possible.

Don't want the Bruins to believe that they have no chance and start injuring Pax, Emelin, Gallagher and/or Subban...

Love the GDT Brian. Let's keep frustrating these guys. Stay on them with the forecheck, hit em lots. Keep the front of the net free. Box the batards out,and we stand a good chance of really getting into their low IQ brains. :gohabsgo: :gohabsgo:

GO Forking Habs GO.

Wind’s in the east, mist comin’ in

The big game is brewin, about to begin

Can’t put me finger on who’s gonna score

But I feel what’s to happen all happened before…

CHim CHiminy, CHim CHiminy, CHim CHim, CHeree

Me Habs are as hungry as hungry can be

CHim CHiminy, CHim CHiminy, CHim CHim, CHeroo

Good luck to my boys in the white, red and blue

Go smack down those Bruins, and win a cup too!

Now as the rafters above have been strung

With Stanley Cup banners on every rung

I spends me time watching HNIC

And even put up with that moron, Cherry

To you from failing hands our heroes have thrown

The torch to hold high, bring a Stanley Cup home

There’s hardly no day, and hardly no night

I’m just waiting for puck drop all nervous and tight

And the pre-game has started, O what a sight!

I watch les Canadiens with pride, yes I do

When the other guys touch the puck, then I will boo.

With every shot I’m a jittery wreck

But Carey is still cool and calm in the net

CHim CHiminy, CHim CHiminy, CHim CHim, CHeree

When you cheer for the Habs you’re in glad company

No where is there a more happier crew

Then them what cheers CHim CHim, CHeree CHim, CHeroo.

Looks to me like Julien is giving up on defending the top six and is going to try and defend against all four lines. Too many goals from our third and fourth line. It's incredibly risky. Their fourth line is just going to try and be pests and goad Montreal into fights or scrums. If we get a single line change with DD/Patches/Gally when Caron is on the ice we could burn them hard.

Breaking up their top line is crazy. The only player I think was being weak was Krejci. Iginla - Bergeron - Lucic would have made far more sense. Do Eriksson - Krejci - Marchand after that? That would be a good mix. This looks desperate. Then again I expect Bergeron to be double shifted.

Bruins are simply trying to match the Canadiens. Spreading responsibilities though out all three top lines. In the hopes of matching the Canadiens. Might as well try something. But, for a team that is not used to moving around, like the Habs are, I think this plan is unwise for them. Yippee.

I have heard a lot of talk about how much better the Bruins are this year than 2011. I agree to an extent. Offensively, they are a juggernaut, their breakouts are textbook, and their defensive mobility is awesome. However, the absence of Seidenberg, Kelly, and Mcquaid has hurt their defense. Bruins were constricting, suffocating, virtually unbeatable defensively. Now that seems to have changed.

Yes, we need to be careful. Lucic has been practicing hitting his target.

I do not put any weight to the Bruins lineup changes in practice today. I believe it's just a gimmick to get the journalists to focus one something else than the poor play of the bruins. I expect the same lineup tonight as last games one or two shifts of the "new" lineup at teh begining to see if it changes the CH's way of playing, to see if they bite

1 Hour and 7 minutes but whose counting.

Not me.

1 hour.

59 minutes.

This is big. The Bruins will get it together eventually. At some point, the winner of a series has to take control of the series, and that's tonight. They had their opportunity Saturday, and allowed themselves to blow an opportunity. If they lose tonight, I have to think seven games. If they win tonight-five.
