zumpano21
So the shot of Gallagher on the bench showed a bloody hand. The money's on an open fracture. Minimum 8 weeks

Its a double whammy.. Exactly. They can't really make their move now anyways. Yes, there's LTIR to use but since none of the injuries are season-ending (yet, at least), they're basically restricted to short-term call-ups/cheap acquisitions. (A reminder for those who don't know much about LTIR, players' salaries do not come off the cap while they're on there...)

Scott462
Impressed with our teams ability and get it done under such dire circumstances. Good effort by everyone. Will be anitcipating Byron and Gallys status

Sometimes impact can cause a cut. But judging by his reaction on the bench it did not look good. Hoping for the best here, even though he was going through a slump he was still competing and we need him.
zumpano21
The Byron injury is less clear. Is he concussed?
CerebusClone
Anyone else noticed that Pacioretty has been taking faceoffs recently, and has been great with a success rate of 66.7%!? He won 20 faceoffs out of 30...
Trizzak
Pacioretty's overtime goal was his 8th career OT goal, which also makes him the all-time Habs leader in that category.

DON
In 11:23 had 7 hits and McCarron also with big screen on Pacioretty's PPG. 11:57 for Johnson and not quite as scary as has been. Montoya couldn't grab a rebound the whole game, I assume was still hungover after getting new deal? 2 for 3 on the PP, good work Muller. JMMR
Boy I would trade those two points for Byrons head and Gallaghers hand.

Let's just hope it's not too severe! Huge couple of wins by the Habs over the past 48 hours. Those points are keeping us with the best teams in the league. Keeping up the pace until Markov and Chucky come back!
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I didn't see the game, because I was at Rogers Arena for a Vancouver-Arizona Clash of Titans...but Jeezum Crow, Byron - one of the season's revelations - AND Gallagher, who was finally finding his game????? The Devil continues to demand payment for the Habs' 20th century.
