Am I the only one insulted that they choose this game for Hutchinson? It's as if they think we don't pose an actual threat.
Chris
They played back to back, starter normally takes game 1 the habs need to score period, doesn't matter the goalie

Metallica
We didn't do anything to improve our PP from last year ...... And guess what... Surprise surprise same results. We need a puck moving defensemen bad.
Chris
Too soft on the puck Too many turnovers 2 bench minors in 4 periods Maybe the offense can get going

Yep, apparently Suzuki needed six tickets for his family and Drouin paid for two of them when Suzuki realized how expensive they were lol. sbhatt
The story of that period: 2 rookie mistakes (Fleury, Suzuki) lead to 2 goals against. Very frustrating to see that too many men penalty. That's 2 in as many games. The next guy who comes off lazy on a line change should be bag skated at the next practice.
Scott462
Oh and Drouin has been looking good, hope they give him more ice time.
dlbalr
They had all summer to come up with a new PP strategy and the best they could come up with is to just take a too many men penalty if things aren't going well? Rough period for Suzuki - his best play was turning it over in the offensive zone (as opposed to giving it away in the defensive end). I don't know what game the Toronto statisticians are watching though as he officially hasn't been credited with a giveaway yet. (Neither has Fleury who has turned it over a few times as well.) sbhatt
The stupidity of this team...I swear. That extra contact by Drouin to the goaltender's head...and now Tatar. Two offensive zone penalties that made zero sense.
