Neech
Don't mind giving Harris a break after all his gaffes last game. A three man platoon with Arby and Kovy makes sense. Hoping for another high scoring 0-point result!
DON
Hope the Habs "best" d-man helps the PP and shines. “His skating is very efficient,” said St-Louis. “He covers a lot of ice. He’ll be able to eat a lot of minutes for us.” In addition, Matheson is among the best defencemen in terms of puck retrieval and controlled exits, which should increase the time the Canadiens spend in the offensive zone. “He’s one of the skaters I’ve seen on the ice,” said Edmundson. “Definitely a smart defenceman. He uses his speed to get out of sticky situations. He’s got a great shot too. We’re looking forward to him returning to the lineup.” https://www.habseyesontheprize.com/2022/11/19/23467387/canadiens-flyers-game-preview-start-time-tale-of-the-tape-and-how-to-watch-tv-listings Tale of the Tape Canadiens Statistics Flyers 8-8-1 Record 7-7-3 46.1& (25th) Scoring-chances-for % 40.2% (32nd) 3.00 (20th) Goals per game 2.47 (32nd) 3.47 (23rd) Goals against per game 3.06 (12th) 17.0% (28th) PP% 17.9% (27th) 80.0% (11th) PK% 74.1% (27th) 2-1-0 H2H Record (21-22) 1-0-
dlbalr
A note from Philly: Konecny leads the Flyers in scoring with 19 points in 17 games so far.
Habs Fan in Edmonton
Habs will be pumped after losing in Columbus, Philly is falling back as expected. I see a 4-2 Habs win.

Looking forward to watching Matheson
xXx..CK..xXx
Boggles my mind that some people root for 0 points. No Konecny for Philly tonight and he‘s been producing quite well for them so that’s a good thing for the Habs.

BCHabnut
Oof. That's to bad teams going at it there. Hahaha.
Prime Minister Koivu
Matheson skates like the wind. Some good, some bad that period. I’m happy that Caufield scored because it’s been a couple of games. High scoring game ahead I hope

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Pretty helter-skelter period, and not really as entertaining as the score would suggest. It definitely has a whiff of “two crappy teams” about it. Happy to see CC tie it up, though. David Savard pinches a surprising amount. I guess he has the green light. But I doubt he’s spent this much time south of the hash marks in years.

Matheson lost the puck to Laughton on the back boards, not great ... but then none of the forwards (Suzuki, Dach, Caufield) paid attention to Sanheim, who had no trouble finding the open net. The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Oddly tactical overtime. Both teams seemed to be playing conservatively. Owen Tippett - just a hell of a game. Looks like a future all star - he showed tremendous imagination and deadly hands. Didn’t help in OT, though! Suzuki with another stunner of a play in OT. That guy is simply superb. Yup, he is pretty good. It was like he had the puck on a string in the last minute of regulation. So fun to watch. Now please sign Caulfield!!
