Prime Minister Koivu Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 I forgot that this game was tonight. A loss is good for the tank but a win is good for my heart. Suzuki, Caufield, Dach please score some goals FFS. Slafkovsky please have a dominant game. Quote
DON Posted December 23, 2022 Author Posted December 23, 2022 Pez is in Dadanov out. Allen starting Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 Anderson back up top or maybe someone new? Why not try Slafkovsky? Expecting Hoffman though Quote
DON Posted December 23, 2022 Author Posted December 23, 2022 Richard on top line...unlikely but why not. Quote
tomh009 Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 I'd try Richard or Armia. Neither one likely but need to find someone other than Dach that will click with Caufield/Suzuki. And either one would need more than a game or two to see if they can find a common frequency. Quote

I just like Richard's speed and maybe Suzuki could gift him some easy scoring chances. Quote
DON Posted December 24, 2022 Author Posted December 24, 2022 How bout this fella? Folks guessing it will be Drouin? Quote
Sir_Boagalott Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Its always nice when the other teams announcers say the Habs have the worst PP and brag that the Stars have the 4th best PK and the Habs score a PPG. Quote
Prime Minister Koivu Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Interesting lines… Evans line was the best and everyone else looked sloppy Quote
DON Posted December 24, 2022 Author Posted December 24, 2022 Habs hanging in, what version of the Habs will come out to pay the 2nd period? Quote

Yes, they are great together, but the Habs are really only 1 line when they are together. Splitting them up might allow some of the non producing Habs to get some points. Pezzetta seems to have decent chemistry with Evans. That was a sweet pass on Evans goal and Evans made a decent attempt to return the favour. Quote
DON Posted December 24, 2022 Author Posted December 24, 2022 Pez, top corner... just for practice! Quote

Sir_Boagalott Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Hmm, thats a surprising stat: the only team that hasn't allowed a short handed goal this year is a team that is playing 4 rookie dmen. That really doesn't make any sense. Quote
sbhatt Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Lazy penalty by Drouin leads to a Stars goal. He's such a waste of a roster spot right now it's not even funny. Quote

DON Posted December 24, 2022 Author Posted December 24, 2022 Suzuki 2 for 9 and Dach 1 for 8 on faceoffs. Quote
sbhatt Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Stupid penalties are the story of this game. Quote
BCHabnut Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Why pull allen? Fo% has been terrible Quote
