alfredoh2009
skipping this one too. I hope they do not earn any points, that no one is injured and that they send the AHLers down for the three games in four nights after the game
Prime Minister Koivu
Yep no points please, we can’t trust Arizona to pick up wins that’s for sure
tomh009
Tha Capitals are 2-6-2 in their last 10, no better than the Habs. One hopes that Primeau is actually starting this one ...

They can send one down at the moment, not both. Plus, sending one down after this one would put them in a spot of playing three in three nights. For someone that's banged up like Harvey-Pinard, that has the potential to be problematic from an injury perspective.
DON
#99 894 goals #8 822 goals Seems inevitable he will pass him now. Matheson's next point (31) will tie his best year, but in just 40some games.

dlbalr
Here's something I wouldn't have guessed - Montreal has more points than Washington in 2023, 33 to 30. The Caps have been bad for a while.

That's a bit excessive.

I almost want them to sit Matheson for the rest of the season but unfortunately with all the injuries I don't think they can just do that. They did have numerous decent rushes but basically blew them all. 6 minutes ago, Prime Minister Koivu said: That Pezzetta interference penalty was bullcrap Suzuki scores I actually looked up the rule for interference because I was certain it wasn't applicable for that. I don't believe that I'm wrong. Oh well, great move by Slick Nick with the shg!!

Neech
Nick is a breakaway/shootout genius. A new career high in points! Next year, with a healthy roster, he'll hit 75 easy.
Sir_Boagalott
I saw this and was somewhat shocked by it: I found it surprising that 4 bottom-dwelling teams made that list. Could the Habs being 2nd in blocked shots be part of their 600+ games lost to injuries problem? I've never fully understood why players outright block shots anyway because they should really be trying to block angles. i.e. cover part of the net that the goalie can't. ex: when a goalie is hugging 1 post, stand in a manner that blocks the opposite top corner. If a player takes away the open part of the net that would force the shooter to try to get the puck past the goalie, and the goalie will make the easy save. sbhatt
Terrible win for the standings, but Washington really mailed it in tonight so I don't think it could be helped.
