Sir_Boagalott
sweet, its a 3 pt game, just what I wanted. Rolo is pissed, the Habs keep bumping him, keep it up and the Habs should win in OT.
KoZed
We're going to overtime. I wonder what Gainey told Saku between the 2nd and 3rd... PP Habs!

sbhatt
Koivu's best game in a long time. I hope D'Agostini was taking notes watching Koivu...go to the net, and you get rewarded.
KoZed
THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PLAY YOUR BEST PLAYERS IN CRUNCH TIME Basically the same ending as the Philly OT win a week or so ago. Schneider is making a hell of a difference here. That's what the Habs had been missing all season long.

Sir_Boagalott
ya, I'd trade that OT goal for a bag of pucks. Koivu looked really good tonight. Congrats Bob on your 1st win in your 1st game back.

Habsfan
Thank the Hockey gods that Koivu and Tanguay showed for this game! Oh yeah, kudoes to the 4th line as well! Edited March 11, 2009 by Habsfan
KoZed
I think we will look back at this game as the turning point in the season, write that down! You're more optimistic than me. How many times have the Habs played one of these great game, just to come out completely flat and lifeless the next game? The turning point will be when the Habs can get a winning streak going AND play convincingly as a group. Not the Halak-stands-on-his-head-while-the-rest-of-the-team-sleeps winning streak. Still took a mid 3rd period goal and an OT PP to win this one. When they start dominating for 60 mins, maybe then you can get your hopes up... What? How you came up with your nickname? I want to know what Gainey said or did to make Koivu come out of coma...
habzy
great game. i had a feeling we were going to pull this out in the 3rd. no way we were going to lose the 1st game with gainey behind the bench.
Fanpuck33
Same old Habs IMO. Came out solid in the first, vanished in the 2nd, then realized they should probably start playing again in the third.
Habsfan84
Huge win. All I saw was the OT but still a good thing I did.
