Should be a fun one today. Carey Price will be wearing a special helmet today. Interesting note is that the Habs have a 2 min walk from the rink to their dressing room. Calgary has a 45 sec. Its a minor advantage for Calgary, since they will get more time in the dressing room, and wont get as tired on the walk since its different walking in skates.

Desharnais will try his ass of to prove he can produce with a winger of Cammy's caliber. Too bad that he has to show he can deliver all in the while that Cammy is not 100% healthy.

Gainey had his issues, but he was always a leader. I wish our coach and current GM would stick up for PK. I am still pissed for JM tossing PK under the bus for a mild celebration of an overtime goal. "I talked to him about it".. really JM.. how about... "I don't care, he scored a beauty.. "

This is exactly the kind of thing that JM and PG should have said about 3 months ago! As pissed off as i was about some of Gainey's moves, i always respected who he stood up for is players and WILL always respect him as one of the all time great habs players.

Although his first rebuild turned out to be a massive disappointment, he substantially salvaged the situation with what was perhaps the single boldest stroke of any GM in NHL history (the radical reconstruction of 2009); and his legacy is one of unremitting dignity. My respect for Mr. Gainey remains undimmed. Always great to hear him speak - and great to hear him on the side of the angels on this one. My own words would have been less 'shut up' than 'F*CK OFF,' but point taken nonetheless. :lol:

The outdoor game is a side-show and I'm concerned that Cammy is coming back too soon just to be in the carnival. Hopefully the excitement gives the Habs the boost they need to get back to some winning ways.

If I never see another outdoor game it will be too soon! What a joke. Bettman is like the PT Barnam or Vince Mcmann of Hockey! :angry: A 5 on 3 where the guy falls on bad ice and a stick happens to be there. No call on Gionta on the exact same play and now he probably hurt his groin. I seriously hate all these gimmicks. Habs are playing stupid too. Forget the pretty plays. Chip and chase and look for bounces.
