JMMR
I'm thinking Emelin is out till mid December at the earliest.
Machine of Loving Grace
I'm expecting Emelin to also get a conditioning stint in the AHL.

dlbalr
I've seen other teams do this but whom was the last Hab to do it? Going off of memory, Marc-Andre Bergeron did when he was signed and Ryan White had I believe a two or three game stint in 2011-12, I seem to remember listening to that game at work, it was a weekday morning (school day) game. Trizzak
I remember expecting Markov to do one but it never happened. Oh well, his crappy play while he found his NHL timing again helped us get Galchylenyuk.
JoeLassister
I remember expecting Markov to do one but it never happened. Oh well, his crappy play while he found his NHL timing again helped us get Galchylenyuk. Didn't he have a multi-points game right from the start when he came back ? (or I am mistaken his latest injury with one of the several others...)
Guest Stogey24
Montreal must have the most ACL/MCL injuries on one team in sports history
Trizzak
Didn't he have a multi-points game right from the start when he came back ? (or I am mistaken his latest injury with one of the several others...) Well he played 13 games and got 3 assists (-4), so even if he got 2 assists in his first game, he was pretty well useless for the remaining 12. dlbalr
Some promising news, both Parros and Gionta will skate with the team starting tomorrow although neither will play in Saturday's scrimmage. If they're skating, hopefully both are on pace to be ready for Game 1.
Machine of Loving Grace
Ryan White got cut and Beaulieu took a hard hit. Both are out from scrimmage.
dlbalr
Nattinen is back on the ice today for the first time in a very long time (I want to say either late December or early January). It doesn't sound like Beaulieu is ready to go yet though.

dlbalr
Gionta is saying he wants to play before the end of pre-season. He was in his first contract practice today which is a good sign. Other injury news, Parros isn't that far along yet and Murray is DTD.

dlbalr
What happened to Murray? Lower body injury, I believe. I've no idea how or when it happened.
bar
He was in his first contract practice today which is a good sign. Other injury news, Parros isn't that far along yet and Murray is DTD. Do you mean Parros is not that far from returning or his recovery is not that far along?
Guest Stogey24
Lower body injury, I believe. I've no idea how or when it happened. No need to play through an injury in pre season. I'm sure its nothing.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
One thing we don't want is an injury to Murray. He brings a very important quality in terms of the balance of attributes we can ice on the blueline, and although Tinordi's strong preseason play instills confidence, we still need that toughness back there. Best to play it safe and have him healthy.
dlbalr
Do you mean Parros is not that far from returning or his recovery is not that far along? Not far enough along to be participating in contact practices like Gionta is.
Machine of Loving Grace
I'm sure if the team feels they need 13 forwards with Parros out, Dumont will just be the last to send down. Or Blunden will get the spot. Good ol' Blunden.
dlbalr
Drewiske is out a month with a shoulder injury. That will likely mean that Tinordi makes the opening roster.

Whoa, and Murray looks to be hurting too? Does this give Pateryn a shot?
dlbalr
Whoa, and Murray looks to be hurting too? Does this give Pateryn a shot? Probably not. It's a DTD thing for him (and Bouillon). They'll be back soon enough barring a setback.
Guest Stogey24
Blunded is awful. The only thing he brings to the table is size.
