GHT120
Today's news seems to have impacted everyone's motivation to start a thread This is the most I could find about the lineup
Prime Minister Koivu
What a sad day….I still can’t wish for a good tank night when playing the leafs. Screw them Hope Montembault stands on his head and Mathews gets skunked.

I suspect if Sam "stands on his head" he will end up joining the IR (😉 taking the saying literally) ... still don't want points but can ALWAYS get on board with skunking Arizona Austin. DON
How much will Suzuki's offense be impacted missing his wingman (and Dach for now)? Got a badddd feeling about this one. How bad a beat-down will this game be? Leafs go crazy and fill the Habs net?
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I'm really down about CC's injury. A loss tonight feels inevitable, and the single best thing about this season - that Suzuki cross-seam feed to Caufield for an electrifying one-timer - is off the table. Blech. DON
3rd place Leafs vs 26th place Habs...would be a great one to win!

TurdBurglar
5 of the 11 forwards started the season in Laval. There are 4 legit NHL forwards in the lineup tonight.
dlbalr
Well, that went pretty much as expected. I foresee a lot of low-scoring games in Montreal's future as this is really a pop-gun offence now.
DON
7:02 for Xhekaj Out shot 15-4, ouch.
Prime Minister Koivu
I miss Cole Caufield

tomh009
I have to say that after that first period I really didn't see them coming back to tie this. In the next period, yet.

Jeering for this year is to Caufield and Suzuki to rack up points and for Caufield to hit 40. Now we may as well lose. Looks like Drouin who may have brought a 6th or 7th is also out. Monohan out. That leaves only potential Anderson and Edmondson returns as all there is to look forward to for the rest of this year.
Prime Minister Koivu
I don’t want to watch Hoffman nor Dadonov anymore. Unfortunately they are both likely to get more ice than ever

I know I didn't see that coming. An impressive bounce-back for sure.

dlbalr
That was an ugly third period but I'm not going to complain about a win with what the Habs ran out there for a lineup. And, somehow, the decision to play David Savard in OT paid off.

And that stat confirms the eye test. The most positive thing (for him) is that he was back with his “A” game just a few days after being shelled by Florida. Speaks well for his mental strength.
