tomh009
Yes. I'm resigned to it now, so not going to get pissed off about it. Scandella looks good after the first two games, though. And Kovalchuk looked legit, too.
dlbalr
Nice first game from Kovalchuk, even if his game stats are a little inflated. (6 hits - really?) If he keeps playing like that, he can help this team. Tomorrow will be interesting as going from sitting for two months to playing a back-to-back could be tough. I hope they play well enough to get us a solid haul at the deadline. #TeamTank

But let's wait and see what Bergevin's plan is.

Bergevin: "Great. I'm trading you to the Islanders. Go win the Cup. Talk to you in June."

But then we are counting on Chiarot, Mete and Romanov for 2020-21. Is that a safe assumption? Maybe it's good enough to take a chance on. I know he looked like a beast at the World Juniors, but it doesn't pay to be too all-in on raw rookies.
DON
Tatar on 68pt pace. Weber on 61pt pace. Tough game for Suzuki and Fleury.
Meller93
So what’s the mantra this year? Sit on your derrière for Lafreniere? Snake bitten for Quinton? No sweaty for Perfetti?
DON
24th place, with a little bad luck 30th isnt out of reach, no one is catching Detroit. Habs poor record at home stands out, why are they better on the road?

At first I had something like: “Be Victor-ious like Mete” but went with “Compete for Meat”, wrong pronunciation and all 🙂 The Habs don’t have many names that rhyme with winning, or fighting words.
