Good news for Josh

Yesterday's sight was scary; I was worried for his life.

Well the situation didnt really call for some idiot commentator going on and on aboot some possibly nonexistant monster cut on Gorges head. Ironically they showed the replay ASAP and generally when a player is hurt really bad like that they wait until the player at least moves before they will show the replay. They dont want to show a replay of somebody getting killed over and over again before they even realize the guy is dead.

Definitely good news Gorges is OK and good to go.

What network was that? TSN or the Caps one

Time to add Spacek to the list. Slim pickings left in Hamilton, just Belle, Benoit, and Henry available.

How far away is Mara from returning?

How far away is Mara from returning?

He's skating, but no timetable. Markov could be back tomorrow as well. Looking at the Hamilton lineup tonight, Dogs are dressing 12 forwards and 5 d-men, with Wyman taking some shifts on defence. The break can't come soon enough for them.

Edit: Listening to the Gauthier scrum, Mara's not ready to be activated yet.

Might as well note that Mara's pretty much done for the year, will undergo shoulder surgery on Tuesday. Also, it's being reported that Alex Avtsyn's career may be in jeopardy due to wrist surgery from a month ago or so. I think that's exaggerated a bit; it's a similar surgery to Souray and we all know that didn't end his career.

From TSN

It took 50 stitches to close the cut, but coach Jacques Martin said Moen was checked by an eye specialist and may be ready to return as early as Thursday. That's when Montreal plays host to the Florida Panthers.

"It cut through an eye but didn't do any damage," said Martin. "It looks like he'll be all right."

Umm, pardon me? How can you cut through an eye without damage?!

It probably just means around the eyebrow.

Huge need filled, two sharp shooters.

PP really needed that. Markov now Markov has two options for a one timer pass instead of zilch nada.

Andrei Kost cannot one time a fast pass, Gionta is better on the microplay(short game tip), Pouliot well he

can, but i think he had more defensive coverage than usual and he had no time or space to shoot.

When Metropolit is your best goal scorer on PP you have a problem with one time shots.

And concerning Moen if indeed he comes back for Florida game i can't wait to see his playoff face.

On the same team you have pretty face Lapierre, well over the game floating around and on the other side you

a guy with 50 stiches near the eye, a nose that been broken many time that digs it in the corners, wins most of his

puck battle but will not be able to fight for Lapierre when he will cheap shot someone and hide behind Markov.

I had kind of hoped to see the PP work with Cammalleri back but not Bergeron, just to see if Camm's shooting would open up more opportunities in general. Unfortunately, we've never seen the PP as the coaches had originally game planned it in training camp.

Metropolit is out 2 weeks with a separated shoulder which means one of Lapierre/Darche will be back in for the next game.

Only 2 weeks? Wow, best case scenario. Metro should be rested for the playoffs, should we make it. *knocks on wood*.
