That's my understanding. Beck certainly plays on the edge. I like his intensity but he has to be more careful. I am sure he will figure it out as he is a highly intelligent guy. I think Beck has one of the highest floors of any Habs prospect as his defensive acumen/work ethic/faceoff ability/excellent skating seem like a perfect fit for the #3 center role, maybe higher if his offensive abilities continue to improve. Another solid game by Montembeault, a great goal by Toffoli (memories of all those 2020-21 SHGs) and a great defensive effort in the third to secure the victory. I like what I see from Beck, he is not a dominant player (yet?) but he sure looks promising I wonder if he can elevate his game like Suzuki learned to do in Junior ?
