KoRP
Yeah, would like to see Carr back up, with Byron hurt maybe? Does anyone think Holloway will get another chance?
Commandant
Holloway is apparently hurt. Day to day.

dlbalr
Sekac off to Chicago, Hawks trade Garbutt for him. Wow - I'd have thought Smith-Pelly would have been the first to move of the two players from the original trade.

habs rule
Rene Bourque made the first significant hit of his career. Broke 2 of Tortarella's ribs. Whoopsie.
dlbalr
Boy, has Matt Moulson ever fallen off a cliff. It wasn't that long ago that he was a routine 30+ goal guy with the Isles. Just a few years later, he's on a 35 game goalless drought and is stuck on just 4 for the season.

dlbalr
He might be the next dumpster dive! If he didn't have three years left after this, it'd be very tempting. Out of nowhere trade proposal: Assuming both players were willing to waive their NTC's, who would say no to a deal of Moulson for Emelin? (Moulson has 3 x $5 left, Emelin 2 x $4.1 left after this year.)
Guest Stogey24
I'd trade Emelin for a turkey sandwich. Jk, he's actually been solid lately.
Lovett's Magnatones
Jon Cooper pulled the goalie tonight in Sunrise...with 10:27 left on the clock. He gave an otherwise blowout game a nice twist of suspense.
hab29RETIRED
Stan bowman, winner of 3 cups, get a 3 year extention. MB who hasn't won anything gets 6.
Trizzak
Stan bowman, winner of 3 cups, get a 3 year extention. MB who hasn't won anything gets 6. Bowman has 2 years left on his current deal, so it is a bit lengthier than it seems.

Bergevin - who received a five year extension (kicking in after 2016-17) - is only signed for one more year than Bowman when all is said and done. Lovett's Magnatones
Tinordi, after having a couple of good games for Arizona, got tuned up like a cheap guitar tonight. He needed to become the guy who answers for a hit instead of the guy who seeks out enforcers about five fights ago. If he keeps it up, his hockey career may be over before too long. Guest Stogey24
He's not a fighter. He needs to do the Hal gill thing, and just be a big body out there.
DON
32 more friggin games, god damn that is one load of crappy hockey still to be played. Will Bergevin start asking for Crawford, Bouche & ? to tune up their resumes for May interviews yet?
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
He's not a fighter. He needs to do the Hal gill thing, and just be a big body out there. The whole reason for drafting him in the 1st round was that he was supposed to be this big, tough, intimidating, shut-down type defenceman. Instead he is a mediocre fighter at best whose entire aim has become to carve out some kind of role as a bottom-pairing defenceman, while hopefully avoiding permanent brain damage. More proof, to my mind, that Tinordi is nothing. Mike Komisarek without the benefit of being paired with Markov.

I still can't get over john scott, but Tinordi has been beat up a few times now. Sounds like Hal Gill who got beat by everybody.
sbhatt
It appears MB won the Tinordi trade. If John Scott comes up and thumps out even one constant thorn in our side before the season is through, he will have won the trade by a landslide.
