Not sure about 4th line but that appears to be the lines.

Marty’s love of Anderson is baffling to me. Slafkovsky was playing great and putting up points and Anderson hasn’t done much.

I think he's trying to get two lines going.  When all three are on the top line, we haven't had much from any other line.   Moving Slaf with Monahan is trying to create a second scoring unit.

"These are the times that try a man's soul"

Team has been in games this year because they believe they have a chance. Been wondering all year how they react after a string of bad losses. Last game they were playing too safe, holding their sticks tight. Causes passes to skates, not sticks and turnovers. I hope they get their trust and belief back tonight.

Go HABS Go

Let’s see if that pays off. If the rest of the season is an indicator then the first line is about to go dry.

Hopefully Slafkovsky kick starts that second line though

Apparently Pezzetta is in as Ylonen gets no love from St-Louis.

I'd like to see Ylonen get more ice time but this is a Pezzetta game with who the Islanders have.  The new-look fourth line was quite effective in that period with Condotta not looking out of place.

A valid point about this game. But isn't this Ylonen's third straight in the press box?

I believe so.  I wouldn't be shocked to see him back in on Saturday against Pittsburgh, a team that isn't anywhere near as physical.

Tough second period but Montembeault was sharp to limit the damage.

Wow, dirty elbow to the head from Gallagher. Ylonen will get his chance back in the lineup for the next few games.

Yeah, there’s no defence for that hit.  It was just plain dirty.

Gallagher is going to get suspended. Brutal elbow right to the chops.

And he "elevated" to do it ... could be an in-person hearing.

Good thing the ref "blew" his whistle earlier in the game
