JoeLassister
I saw the clip of Pateryn. He's nowhere near 100%. Still very limited in his movements.

Sure, its his first day back on skates after breaking his ankle. He's likely a few weeks of rehab away.

dlbalr
Markov is ready to give skating another go as he was on the ice with Pateryn this morning. Hopefully this time it goes better compared to what happened a couple of weeks ago where they had to shut him down. Also, on Desharnais:

Neech
Crazy how that stat still holds true ten years later. Markov was basically the player that got our sorry team to 7th place all those mediocre mid-2000s years.

Yes, if the Hart Trophy really goes to the player 'most valuable to their team,' then Markov should have won it at least once.

dlbalr
Pateryn, Markov, and Desharnais are all taking part in practice today. Galchenyuk skated on his own before practice got underway but will miss the next two games at least. (Don't be surprised to see him retroactively placed on IR if he hasn't been already.) Trizzak
Praise be, Desharnais is expected to play in tomorrow's game. We are blessed.
dlbalr
It turns out Galchenyuk will be back tomorrow instead of over the weekend. That will bring the injured list down to just Gallagher (until the next injury hits of course).
