Didn't someone say that the FLA Panters had a better core than the Habs ?

From 31 thoughts:

“What are the consequences?” There are many potential changes on and off the ice, but what has other GMs buzzing is a belief the Panthers will strongly consider breaking up their core because the mix hasn’t worked. Was the Vincent Trocheck deal just the tip of the iceberg?

They still are better.  Cause simply being the Habs means everything is awful here and the sky is falling.

Yes, and Buffalo has a brighter future, Ottawa will surpass us, NJ would contend before us, all typical lyrics being sung by the doomsday band. This would be easier if the Titanic band could be playing in the background while reading..

We all know Bergevin is awful and will screw up our top 5 prospect pool and most picks in the draft

So we need Chicago, Devils & Buffalo to start winning, San Jose isnt catchable by Habs, but 25th place should work fine (draft lotterywise anyways).

My goodness, some evil intentions there.

Weber was also upset about losing Sergechev for nothing, so tried to make up for the bad trade by taking out Sergechev.

Just once, once, post something that isn't taking a shot at the organization. A picture of Weber missing an absolute haymaker and you have to comment about a trade that in your opinion is bad. Just an awful existence you must live watching what is supposedly your favorite team. I suggest getting another hobby, talking to a therapist, or both

Maybe you should see a therapist for being fine with seeing the crap team we have and blindly supporting the idiotic moves they keep making in your delusion state.

What happened to your delusional hope from Twitter days ago - we’re catching the leafs and panthers???  Kind of like your misplaced hope in kinkaid when he was picked up, or are summer long saying we’d get the the LD we need because there was no hurry to get him until the start of the season.

Based on BPA, presumably -- and someone's prospect rankings.

Habs will have their own BPA rankings, which will vary somewhat, even in the first round. And we might yet have a chance to pick in seventh overall, too, but I think anything higher than that is quite unlikely.

The Sabres upset the Caps in the shootout tonight...perfect result for the tank.  Let's hope the Devils find a way to get 2 points against the Pens tomorrow night.

Santa Clara County just banned gatherings of over 1000 people due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus in that County. This ban is set to last three weeks. The Sharks happen to play in that County so one would assume they are going to play in an empty building or move the games elsewhere. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out and if this gets adopted by other regions. Hopefully they get this virus under control. The Sharks next home game is March 19th vs the Habs.

Agreed.  And the Sabres have 2 games left with the Habs. Those are huge games!!
