Yeah, that is a much more consequential dumb choice than using Weise as the 12th FW. It basically ensures a tire-fire in the Habs' zone for however many minutes Oullet is on the ice.

Weise and Ouellet...FFS Claude, you're outgunned as it is: roll the dice on some players with potential upside already.

 

I hope Drouin is on a very short leash tonight; if he looks clueless (as he often does), demote him down the lineup and take him off the PP sooner rather than later.

Drouin had a weird game on Tuesday.  He was one of the teams best players in the first half of the game and one of the worst in the second half.  I get hes mercurial but to do that in the same game is weird.

 

One other thing to keep an eye on.  The refs were whistle happy in the rangers/canes game.  Hopefully they let the teams play more tonight.  The more penalties called, the worse for the Habs.

I didnt see 2nd half and thought he looked OK to start.

What I mean is his  WJC/ memorial cup/ stanley cup playoff form. He's shown an ability to rise to the occasion when a Cup is on the line.... we can only hope.
