Psycing Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I think this will be a tight match - a real test for the Habs. Andrei Kostitsyn will have to out-score Tomas Vanak while Price will need to be one goal better than Miller. Habs 4 - 3 Sabres Quote
dlbalr Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 A bit of bad news for the Habs, as both Jochen Hecht and Jaroslav Spacek return to the Buffalo lineup tonight (and Numminen came back just last game too). Quote
Psycing Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 A bit of bad news for the Habs, as both Jochen Hecht and Jaroslav Spacek return to the Buffalo lineup tonight (and Numminen came back just last game too). Hopefully they'll have the same trouble we had when our guys first got back. Quote
johnnyhasbeen Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 A bit of bad news for the Habs, as both Jochen Hecht and Jaroslav Spacek return to the Buffalo lineup tonight (and Numminen came back just last game too). Isn't that good news? Shouldn't they have a post return , team wide let down? You guys said that was normal when our guys got back. Maybe we win 6-1 as they play like we did vs Fla? Quote
l<OV4L3V Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 (edited) I will be at the game tonight...section 304 row 2. Got tickets at Par price so it's a pretty damn good view for 116 CDN (pretty much just me and the balcony) Anyways my buddy and I did a mock game on NHL09 on the 360 last night and i won 5-2 (however 2 of those goals were scored with lang)..so im not so sure but last time we did a prediction i won 6-1 with the Habs over the leafs (for starting game of the season) and that was the exact score! Let's hope the trend continues...Go Habs Go!! :hlogo: Edited February 6, 2009 by l<OV4L3V Quote
Habsfan Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I got a bad feeling about this game. 4-2 Sabres! Hopefully I'm wrong! Quote

Dalhabs Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 (edited) Buffalo seems to have been great lately. Lets hope we score early and first and can shut them down totally after that. 3-1 habs win? Last goal in the empty net? Laraque comes back with a vengeance and eat up Peters and spits out the skates afterwards and then end up diging in the gamewinning 2-0 goal in the 2nd. Btw... got some really good news for u guys... I have bet money on the sabres tonight so this is a safe win. Edited February 6, 2009 by Dalhabs Quote
Habsfan84 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 This is a big division game for the Habs since the Sabres arent far off. Go Habs Go! Quote
lazy26 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Let's build some momentum. GO HABS GO!!!! Quote
MFT77 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Time for the Habs to stay in the W column. Good to see BGL back in the lineup, hopefully he adds something. Won't be easy vs. the Sabs though. Go Habs Go. Quote
Seb Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I wanna see Laraque visit that Koleta fella. He's throwin himself around pretty good. Quote
sbhatt Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Need more traffic in front of Miller...he looks like he's got his 'A' game tonight. Quote
RobRock Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I'll take another 40 minutes of action like that. With a goal or four on the side. Quote
Helmethead Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Just saw Big Georges on RDS. Reminds me of a big teddy bear Quote
sbhatt Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Great, Miller is playing lights-out, while Price lets in a goal you'd expect a Jr. B goalie to stop. Quote
JLP Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Koivu with a terrific open ice hit there hehehe c'mon boys I woke up to watch score a few! Quote
brobin Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Price needs to play better if we are going to win.. Miller is out playing him big time.. . The boys needs to start driving the net like Koivu did and stop all these perimeter shots... Quote
