Buds has played well for us against the Bruins. I'd give the nod to Tokarski personally.

I had forgot Budaj has good record vs Bruins and I imagine he is in, but I also wouldn't mind see Tokarski in either.

I doubt will be boring game and should be a good battle.

Bourney's back in a contact jersey at practice.

Bourney!

That's nice but he was a healthy scratch for a bit before he got hurt. With several others now back and Weise in the fold, he'll be a healthy scratch again most of the time.

I really wish they'd send him down to get some playing time/confidence back.

I was hoping for that too but after reading that portion of the CBA, I realized they can't really do that because he has been up all year. He qualifies for a loan of up to six days/three games to the AHL (called a Bona-Fide Long-Term Injury/Illness Exception Conditioning Loan) but that's it. (And no cap relief for those days he's down.)

I didn't realize it was that complicated. Thanks for the info, Brian.

According to reports, Michael Bournival sent down to AHL for a conditioning stint.

They may be the last games he plays for a bit, I don't think there's a regular roster spot awaiting him when he returns.

I sure loved the 4th line with DW and RW.

Oh well no way Therrien goes with those 3 over his vet 4th line.

Weise and White have natural chemistry.

I hate the fact that Bourque, Briere and every other veteran that struggled mightily gets plenty of chances, and White is sat for them. I appreciate Moen's veteran smarts, and defensive awareness, but to me White brings more than him, both physically, and offensively, let alone the chemistry with Weise like Stogey mentioned, and he is better at center than Prust, imho. Although Moen may have better board play, Weise has great speed, and it sure helps on the forecheck......

Is Weise the new Dominic Moore?? Those are startling W-L totals.

People can complain about "veteran bias," but it's nearly universal among NHL coaches. I think it partly has to do with trust, but it also has to do with the coaches knowing which guys have power in the room and making sure those guys are happy, or at least, not actively out to get you.

White and Weise have played a handful of games together, I wouldn't over-estimate any 'chemistry' between them even if they knew each other growing up.

Moen has been our best 4th liner - I'd sit Prust before him.

Lol Neech, I guess I would have to say I wouldn't sit any of that 4th line.... ahhh hindsight is awesome! I would however sit Briere before any of them....

Prust shut me up tonight. Probably his best game of the year.

Yep and he's out of the line up tonight.

Hope Larry isn't hurt bad and back soon, but if need to rest him for couple weeks likely is fine and Habs can clinch without him. He can go join Prust and Gorges on a beach in Cuba for couple weeks.

I liked Therrien's update on Eller in one of the articles I linked this morning - "He's day-to-day, I guess." I have my doubts he'll play tonight at the very least.

Hey has anyone heard how Weiss and Moen are doing? They both looked to be in pretty bad shape last night.

2-3 weeks for Weise, minimum of a week for Moen as it's a concussion. He apparently was feeling much better yesterday though so hopefully it's just a small one.

thanks Brian, I guess it is a damn good thing we have some 4th line depth, although that is running out fast. I am a little worried about Moen cause this ain't his first concussion by any stretch and it can be very tricky as to when he makes it back.
