habscout
Toffoli ! Finally breaks the team scoring curse.

Put Anderson with Tatar and Danault; put Gally with KK and Armia; and move Toffoli up with Drouin and Suzuki. Who has the best 1 timer and shot? I'd say Toffoli, so I'd play him with their best passers. i.e. Drouin & Suzuki. What winger is the best forechecker? Anderson, so put him with Danault & Tatar. Gally ends up with Armia & KK. Those lines would help balance their size better too. Im all for this , I like your reasoning Good pass Danault and good shot Toffoli
Sir_Boagalott
Ryder always was a big scorer against the Leafs. I was hoping #73 would score tonight.
Commandant
Great forecheck by gallagher.... Great pass by Danault.... Great finish by Toffoli Credit to all three.

Sir_Boagalott
Petry, starting to flip out!!! 😇 They need to do more of that, like practice the hell out of it.
xXx..CK..xXx
I like Perry’s intensity. You can see it in his eyes. (especially after he gets hit in the face with an errant high stick)

Sir_Boagalott
Hmm, another flip out, but nobody was down ice to recover it. I certainly hope they keep doing that.
Commandant
Big shift by Danault line creating possession in thenleafs zone and pinning matthews deep leads to gallaghers goal.

habscout
Wow, that was a hard earned two points. Nice to see the team rebound in the third period.
Habs Fan in Edmonton
Great 3rd period by the Habs, Gally is such a force.
brobin
Popped in to watch the end of the game and habs score a minute later... you are welcome. 😁
Prime Minister Koivu
Hard fought game. Price was really solid Not sure how I feel about Tatar coming back in. Should Perry sit? I didn’t realize that our combined goals scored by centres is only 6! That is not good at all
dlbalr
It wasn't pretty but after two tough losses and a week off ahead, I'm not going to complain about a win.

zumpano21
I like the lunch bucket ethos of that win. Good for team confidence and morale as they head into the break.
Neech
What a game by Price and Gallagher. Our boys wanted it more in the third. Tight-checking, mostly error-free on both sides (I started watching in the second). Now we don't have to spend the bye week freaking out.

Came back tonight - thanks in large to Price keeping us in it in the first. Issue isn’t size it’s skill. Forward group has been struggling of late and while we don’t have the Matthews/Marner/Tavares level skill, we have skill and depth. We aren’t going to score over 4 goals a game the rest of the season, but have guys who can score. Issue is the slow D (but they are bigger now!). This is where I would rather move expensive depth like Byron, Tatar, or both to open up cap room and than try and get some more mobility and skill on the D. Weber, Chariot, Edmondson are big and physical, but they are slow and we need to pair Weber with a faster puck mover.
