No, I think they ref purposely called it to be a hindrance.  The Refs know that if the Habs dont score in this period they wont in the next.  The Refs will give the Jets a freebie for a full 2 mins in the 3rd.

Disappointing but the Habs played a solid period in terms of controlling the play.  If they keep that up, they should be in good shape.

I like this game , close and the Habs are playing really well to the best that the Jets can manage despite missing Petry and sheltering Romanov

 

Price playing less like a super human but not sucking 

 

I hope they overcome the Jets in the next 20 min... I won’t be able to handle overtime

Thats so interesting.  The other day I saw a clip of an analysts talking about Perry going around dmen.  Perry isnt a great skater, and isnt fast, yet he gets a round a bunch of dmen.   

 

They showed a clip of how he does it, and now that I've seen it I cant unsee it.  i.e. I had never noticed it before, and now its plain as day. 

 

ex:  he does a quick lil kickout type thing with his foot before he tries to go around a dman.   When he does that it gives him a bit of space but its enough to allow him to cut around the dman.
