Habs just WON the night in terms of "panache".

Hahahahaha, very Las Vegas coup there, bringing that appalling musical abomination onstage for the pick

Not a fan of her music but very much apropos for Las Vegas!

Her singing is unlistenable screeching devoid of any taste whatsoever, but I agree totally that Montreal stole the show bringing her up there. Wonderful old-time "Montreal Canadiens" panache right there.

This pick electrified the building and electrified the commentators. Hopefully he will eventually electrify the Bell Centre.

So glad it is Demidov

And that the Habs chose someone who could pronounce his name

SJS: Celebrini

CHI: Levshunov (chance of Demidov or Lindstrom)

ANA: Silayev (Sennecke if they trade Zegras before the draft starts)

CBJ: Lindstrom (Sennecke or Silayev if they are not confident about Lindstrom's health)

MTL: Buium (or Demidov)

Next up is whether NJ keeps their pick.

What an exciting year you picked to go to the draft! Gotta be an awesome atmosphere in there

None of Silayev, Buium and Dickinson picked yet. Which one will fit into top 10?

Silayev it is.

If San Jose goes Celebrini-Buium they win the draft

Shocked that neither Buium or Dickinson went in the top 10

For what was seen as a D-heavy draft, there were only two D-men picked in the top eight.
