Armia has one of the best shots on the team. He just doesnt use it enough. Heineman does have a great shot too.

Commandant
I'd see if they do a different callup after 5:00pm today. I do agree that Beck needs to play bigger minutes and at centre. I'd call up ABB.

He was also adjusting to playing a position he hasn't played all year with two linemates he hasn't played with before. He did miss jumping on the ice on a line change in the Rangers game and the Rags scored on the outmanned Habs on that play. But it was his first game ... Who adds size, 20 goals and left shot. Could sign a Frederick and Olivier to play on 4th line add much needed toughness. Armia and Dvorak should be done here next summer. A veteran two-way 50 point center, faceoff guy I like to play between Anderson and Gally next year. Somebody like a Duchene or Giroux. Should give our third line around 50 goals. Either big upgrade on Dvorak.

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Dvorak is a dreary player, but if he takes a big haircut, is he worth re-signing to be a 4th-line C? Don't come at me, just asking.

He's not going to produce the offence he was expected of at the time of the trade, but that's water under the bridge. If he's taking something like 1.5 mill a season, then he'd be fine to re-sign. That said, I could see Dvorak choosing to move on just cause he may want a change of scenery.
xXx..CK..xXx
Dvorak strikes me as a player who would be nice to have on your team during the playoffs. One of those depth players that is hard on the puck and randomly scores the cup winning goal. Unfortunately the regular season is 82 games and playoffs aren’t guaranteed. Dvorak with the London Knights (regular season) in 2015-2016: If only that could have translated to the NHL…

He had 15 goals and 33 points as a rookie 15 and 37 the next year 18 and 38 before being traded to Montreal. 17 and 31 in just 56 games in the covid shortened season. 11 and 33 in 56 in his first year as a hab. The production for a 3rd liner was there and he looked like he could be a second liner with better linemates and just never took the next step (and actually regressed).
