I just want them to treat him with all deliberate care ... no need to rush him back, or more likely let him back too soon ... let him get the proverbial 110% healthy. tomh009
Savard's still non-contact, I don't think he'll play without at least one full-contact practice first. Maybe they can play Wideman on PP1, it can't be any worse than the recent results.

They better take their time before returning him to the lineup just what the tank for Bédard needed

DON
Sorry Gally, but no big loss. He is toast, as far as top six goes. Just too slow now and can anyone even remember the last time he took a goaltending interference penalty or 'accidently' fell on top of any goalie, as he once did in his youth? GHT120
Per RDS ... Guhle may be out for more than a month due to his knee injury IMO the Hab's physicians need to be very cautious in allowing Guhle back on skates, then into non-contact practices and finally into games ... he is too important to the rebuild to let him try to get back quickly (as players are often want to do). Yes take it as slow as needed. Be as cautious as a mother bear Habs doctors. This guy is a franchise cornerstone

Injured all the time, ineffective when he is healthy enough to play. If he were a horse, you'd take him out behind the barn and put him down. We got a bunch of them on this team.
Prime Minister Koivu
Guhle might not make it back this season or at least not much of it.

Now there is an injury you don't want to rush. All that matters is that he heals properly. We don't need to rush Gally back either. Actually we don't need to rush anybody back. DON
With both Matheson/Guhle both out for at least couple weeks and Edmundson looking crappy this year (to me anyways), left side not so deep anymore.

He has two 'A' bonuses in his deal that he has a shot at getting but the minimum number of games to be eligible is 42. He's at 36 so he needs to come back befor the end of the year to get those. (On a related note, if he gets those, that $420,000 gets added to the overage penalty for next season.)

Usually when that's the case, it's longer than that with the re-assessment coming at the eight-week mark. His return is then dependent on recovery going well so that surgery which would carry the longer timeline won't be needed.
