"3rd Star: Jayden Struble – For a game he wasn’t supposed to play in, Struble had a pretty solid outing.  The goal was one thing but defensively, he was steady and Utah didn’t get a lot going when he was on the ice.  I don’t think he deserves to come out of the lineup when Matheson returns but I don’t think Justin Barron deserves to either as he had a decent game considering how little he has played lately.

A lotta negativity...but I still say that they played a solid team game last night. Hard work, good mutual support, plenty of blocked shots, pretty structured play.

 

The shot total would have been higher if they hadn't missed the net so damned much.

Agree 100% with this.  It felt like a close game throughout, both on the scoreboard and on the ice.  More of a continuation of the stronger defensive games that were happening before the Vegas game.

But if two particular posters aren't stopped from making personal attacks, and they continue, then eventually it's clear that such attacks are only met with repeated toothless slaps on the wrist and I'll have to take care of it myself.

But even after the explanation (a perfectly reasonable one), I don't see how you could still construe that as anti-Semitic.  That's not the type of comment to be taken lightly and, at least in my opinion, was unwarranted.  I'd appreciate it if you'd at least withdraw that particular element.

I have been quiet, but I'm sure others agree.  All 3 of you need to piss off with the useless back and fourth. It's getting irritating. People have different opinions. If someone doesn't agree with yours, it's OK. Get over it and move on. People get their feelings hurt and feel singled out. It happens. Understand that it happens and stop escalating.  I'm gonna start looking for another board soon. Ive been on this board since ESPN in 2000. It's getting old. Brian laid the hammer down and took care of it in another thread.  I’m only acknowledging it so it doesn’t get started again in a different thread because, like you, I’m tired of the squabbling.  I had to take a step back awhile ago because of it.

Fanpuck shows up a few times a year. I'm very glad that I found this board. I believe I'm more knowledgeable because of it. I kept an open mind and learned along the way.

Saskhab is currently working for an NHL team (this is year 10 for him I think).  Colin pops by a few times a year too.
