Anything that is 4 minutes or 5 minutes can be reviewed.

If it was 2 minutes they can't review.

Ok. Thanks. Didn’t realize that.

I'm guessing the party will be on in MTL on Thursday...a chance to wrap it up on Jean Baptiste Day....

Younger me would have booked a room, done the drive, and sat on a patio with a big screen at opening time.  I can't survive an entire day of drinking anymore though...it's a shame.

You know what. Call me crazy but  I still like the Pacioretty trade despite what others may think.

Three years of Tatar. And now Suzuki is ready for prime time.

Bergevin's odds on that award are getting shorter ...

So how was that a challenge ale play though? I don’t get the comment that the penalty would have stood if they were didn’t check for blood?  There is so much stuff that they don’t review.

Without the blood it would be a 2 min pen and unreviewable.

When somebody gets hit with high with a stick on a follow through of a shot its not a penalty.  That is why it is basically the only time that you dont want there to be blood.  A high stick with blood is a 4 min pen and those are reviewable.

Late to the party, eh?!

I argued against it before it happened but finally came to accept it was for the best

Despite the early goal making it a bit more nerve-wracking, that was a solid defensive period.  Vegas didn't just pepper them the whole time and Montreal was able to generate a bit of pressure and zone time.  Knowing they were going to sit back a bit, that was a pretty good showing in the third.

The real GM of the year is the one who steps on the ice in the last game and hoists the Stanley Cup.

Habs outworked Vegas tonight and not by just a little bit, by a lot.

I said last game that this is the best Habs team for winning one-on-one battles I’ve seen since 1993. At least. Their “active sticks” are insane. The team is just relentless.

Yvonne worked her magic again!! ONE MORE WIN!! IN MONTREAL, BABY!!!
